Finance Assistant
Overview
We are looking for a new Finance Assistant to join our team at All Saints’ C of E First School.
As Finance Assistant, you’ll be part of our admin team in school. Under the direction of the Office Manager you will provide financial, administrative and clerical support to the school.
The role encompasses all aspects of office administration, but will be mainly focused on financial administration. The successful post holder will be an ambassador for the school, and will demonstrate exceptional people skills, a commitment to providing a high level of customer service and absolute professionalism, warmth and friendly personality at all times.
Post: Finance Assistant
Grade 4: SCP 5-6 355-386 NJC points
17.5 hours per week – term time plus two weeks
Salary: £23500 – £23893 pro rata
Personal attributes
In addition to the daily support of the school office you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking financial administration within the school, e.g. processing orders and invoices,
- Maintaining finance and HR records
- Assisting the Office manager in preparation of management accounts
- Assisting the Office Manager in the inputting of HR data e.g. staff absences, timesheets,
- Posting information to our financial and HR systems – PS Financials and MyView
- maintaining confidentiality at all times,
